Every year Chicago restaurants celebrate the dining experience with “Restaurant Week” (January 24th – February 6th). This annual event offers a great opportunity to try new cuisines and dishes. Each participating restaurant features prix fixe menus starting at $22 for lunch and $33 or $44 for dinner.
Restaurant Week makes for a great dating atmosphere. Servers at each participating restaurant are excited about the special menus and usually offer great details and insight into the dishes. You can also enjoy elegant menus at nicely discounted prices.

Below are 5 of our favorite Restaurant Week dating options.
Naha: One of the top-rated restaurants in the US gets fully engaged in Restaurant Week and it’s truly a treat if you’re looking for a great date restaurant. You won’t be able to enjoy prices this low any other time of year.
GT Fish & Oyster: If you’re looking for a great lunch date, it’s hard to top GT Fish & Oyster. Not only is the ambiance always terrific here, their Restaurant Week lunch menu offers their famous lobster roll plus your choice of clam chowder or tuna salad and a dessert. All for $22.
Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse: During restaurant week this steakhouse offers a 4-course meal (yes, you read that right, 4-course meal) for $44. This place makes for a perfectly classic dinner date at an amazing price.
Paris Club: The chefs at this very trendy River North spot have put some of their best items on the dinner menu for Restaurant Week. And they’re offering them in a 3-course meal at $33. The ambiance plus the delicious food is a steal at that price.
A10: If you’re looking to show-off a little bit with your date and be a little ahead of the trend, A10, a great new restaurant in Hyde Park may be your best bet. Their dinner comes in at $44 but it comes with some amazing items that make it more than worth the price.
